Event Logo - it all started with a sketch

To start this amazing project we had to imagine a marriage between Parker’s top loves: Music and Skateboarding. His mother wanted to seamlessly incorporate two together in a custom logo for the event that could be use on apparel and promotional items. At first the idea was daunting, but after some preliminary sketches, I landed on the concept of using adding the wheels and attachments of the skateboard to the neck of the guitar. The neck of the guitar extends into a road that leads to the Atlanta skyline, where the event is held. I also decided to design logo in the style of a badge to further the meeting of urban skate culture and classic music fest style trends.

The goal was to create a standing logo design that can become an official logo for the campaign
